Norway, Ohio and the County-Park Line

East of Coldbrook Village to the Herkimer - Hamilton County Line

Ohio is a rural town that is the first town in Herkimer County you'll hit coming from Lake Pleasant, right after you pass Hoffmeister. Here the mountains and forests start to give way to farmland and flatter terrain.

Norway is west of Ohio and is not in the Adirondack park. The hugh Hinckley Reservoir and the Hamlet of Prospect are located here. Norway is much flatter and has more farmland. But it is still very rural and sparesly inhabited.
